Sister House Collective April Book Club

This month's book club read is all about woman empowerment! Woman Code dives into how to balance your hormones through food and a healthy lifestyle. Written by holistic health coach, Alisa Vitti, we think this is perfect read for April as we jump right into spring! 

Tickets can be purchased for $5 here. Once a ticket is purchased, you will receive an email with a link to our private facebook group to discuss the themes of the book before our in-person meeting on April 30th. 

Our in-person discussion will take place on Monday the 30th at 6:00 pm (location that is to be determined). We will have a cozy evening among ladies talking all about the book while indulging in treats and beverages!

Pop Up at Vintage Market Days

Calling all vintage lovers! Vintage Market Days, a travel vintage market, is bringing a vintage experience to Las Vegas. We will be set up with Nostalgia Resources' tiny blue trailer, Gypsyana, displaying our usual collection plus additional Sister House vintage home furniture and housewares! 

Join us for this unique experience as it will be our first time participating in this kind of vintage market. There you will find a large group of artists, collectors of all kinds and many makers who upcycle existing material. This is a family friendly event, so come explore what the market has to offer!

February Book Club Discussion Meet Up!

This month's book club read is all about the ways of Danish life- living WELL, like the happiest people on earth. Our book for the month, "The Little Book of Hygge: The Danish Way to Live Well by Meik Wiking", explores the theme of "hygge", which has been referred to as "cosiness of the soul". 

Our final discussion will take place in person (location to be determined) on February 26th at 6pm. Treats and beverages will be provided!

Join us for a celebration of our time in our first brick-and-mortar location at 1110 Fremont St.! Since our workshop space will be closing at the end of the month, Sister House resident artists Emma, Veronica and Abbie, along with Sister House founder, Ashley, would like to throw a celebration to show our appreciation for the community's reception of this concept in downtown Las Vegas.

(Don't worry, Sister House will continue online and functioning as a pop up shop featuring global and local goods with a purpose and Desert Daisy Jewelry, Abbie Paulhus and Nostalgia Resources will be doing the same!)

This workshop will teach about how to travel with infants and young children via plane, car, boat as well as other forms of transportation.

Dr. Judith Gold has traveled to more then 55 countries with her six children. Learn from her experience- hear her tips and tricks to make traveling easier! She will provide information about different accommodation options when traveling with children, what to pack, items that are necessary and what you can go without.

Some topics that will be covered: breastfeeding in public, vaccinations, foreign country hospital visits and pre-travel preparations!

Family Cookie Decorating with Shayanne Nelson

Shayanne of Bleu Moon Bakery will be instructing a holiday cookie decorating workshop for parents and their little ones! 

Each child will be making 1/2 dozen cookies to eat/take home.

This workshop will fill up fast so make sure to snag your child's seat (ONLY 12 SEATS AVAILABLE)! Ticket price is for one parent + one child. Each additional child is $10.
